Upcoming Litters

(Page updated 1/30/2018)

No rabbits are currently bred.
We’re planning another French Angora breeding and another American Chinchilla breeding once some of our Available and In the Nestbox rabbits have found new homes.

Let us know if you have a request for a specific breeding.

  1. Hi, I am interested in getting one, possibly two of the Silver Fox bunnies. Do you have a waiting list for them and how much is it for a baby? (when they are ready to leave mom of coarse) Thank you

    • Hi Piper. I can put you on a waiting list for Tumpkin’s and Wilbur’s kits due May 19. These will be partially pedigreed (Tumpkins is pedigreed, Wilbur is not, but he is purebred Silver Fox). Tumpkins is nesting a lot, stashing hay and getting a little grumpy 🙂 so we’re excited to see her litter this week! We let the mothers wean, which seems to usually be at 6 weeks. We sell at 8 weeks and following. Price for these will be $25 (less for pet quality/not brood quality that are too small, etc.).

    • Hi Piper. Your babies were born today! Tumpkins had either 8 or 9 kits early this morning. I’ll get a more accurate count tonight. (Didn’t want to pull them out of the nest this morning because I think they had just been born when I checked.) I looked at 5 of them and they look great, nice and wiggly and strong – 3 were black as I expected but two of them were a little bit lighter, so maybe blues(?) .They have been moved to the “In the Nestbox” page on this website.

  3. I am looking to purchase a 4-H show silver fox rabbit for my daughter for her birthday. I was directed to you from Kanichen Farm. Do you have any show quality rabbits available?

    • Hi Tonya. Thanks for your interest in our rabbits. (And thanks to Monique for directing you our way.)
We have a baby pedigreed silver fox that was born 6/21/2016 so it will be ready in a week or two. I have not checked whether it is a boy or girl but it is very fast-growing and excellent body type for it’s age. Both of the parents are high quality so I would expect the baby to do well at shows. $25 with pedigree if you get it when it’s ready. The price will go up a bit once it’s old enough to evaluate show quality. We will also be reducing our herd a bit and would be willing to sell you one of our herd bucks, both born January 2015. Orville placed in the lower end of the group at the MSU show but no DQs nice big guy and he would be $30 with pedigree.
